AUTOMATED PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

Our system automatically runs preventive maintenance cycles throughout the year to allow your computer to run as smooth and error free as it can. Nothing for you to do here.

Our system automatically tunes your computer up on a regular basis throughout the year to allow your computer to run as fast as it can. Nothing for you to do here.

Our system automatically monitors your computer 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. If it finds anything that needs action in regard to your computer's health, you will hear from us. Nothing for you to do here.

Our system automatically updates your important generic software (i.e., Windows updates, Adobe Reader, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Skype etc.) for you to keep your computer as safe as possible. Nothing for you to do here.

If you subscribe to one of our "Worry No More" Plans you have access to free guidance from our experienced technicians. So you are more than welcome to send an Email to HelpDesk@ChathamPC.com with questions like: "Can you recommend a new printer for me. I only print very little over the year, but I need color printing?", "Can you recommend a new laptop computer for me for light use around $750?", "I need to move my business to a new location, can you help us with some technology questions in that regard?". Whatever the technology question is, we will try and help you as good as we can - for free.

In case of widespread panic situations (large virus attacks, local weather problems etc.) we will send out System Wide Alerts (or actions if needed). Nothing for you to do here.

The remote agent software is the software that you installed when you first signed up for one of our plans (the icon is a little green circle with a white check mark in it as pictured on top of this web page here). This software allows us to do automated computer tune-ups, automated preventive maintenance, pro-active PC health monitoring, software update management, system wide alerts and gives us the ability to help you remotely if you have an issue on your computer (and a whole lot more depending on your "Worry No More" Plan).

We install, configure, monitor and maintain Professional anti-virus and/or anti-malware software for you.

If you have a "Worry No More" Plan that includes file backup or advanced backup, then we also install, configure, monitor and maintain the backup software for you.

We will Email you audit, inventory and various types of reporting tailored to your needs.

All of our plans have the OPTION for remote access to your office computer from i.e., your home computer, if needed. Just ask us to set it up for you - free of charge (for now). We also offer professional remote access to your own office computer via "Splashtop" at $10 per month per user (one user can access multiple computers under this license if needed).

If you have a "Worry No More" Plan that includes file backup then we will install, configure, monitor and maintain the backup software for you.

A file backup plan is a "low level file backup", which is very well suited for backing up individual computer files on a regular desktop or laptop computer. See the "Automated Advanced Image Cloud Backup" below for the difference in the two backup types.

If you have a "Worry No More" Plan that includes "automatic advanced image cloud backup" then we will install, configure, monitor and maintain the backup software for you.

This type of backup is very well suited for servers and "true main" computers that run i.e., SQL databases, Exchange mail servers, proprietary solutions or software etc. This is since the image backup allows for a "Disaster Recovery" scenario onto dissimilar hardware, which means if your main Windows computer / server completely breaks down, we can come with any kind of replacement Windows computer / server and restore your FULL machine - usually within one workday. The restore will contain data from the backup from the night before the crash.

Remote Support outside any of our plans are always available and will be billed according to the time that is spent fixing an issue. A couple of good examples of Remote Support outside our plans are i.e. fixing a customer printing problem remotely, helping out with an Email issue, helping out with a sound issue etc. These types of issues clearly have nothing to do with any of our plan items and is therefore billable separately from our plans (unless you have a separate pre-paid support plan with us).

Yes! You can always move you plan between your computers for free! Just ask us and we will do it for you.
