Our service is more and more needed because www.DoNotCall.gov  is largely being ignored by Telemarketers!!!

How do you do it?

When our anti SPAM Phone service is enabled on your phone, our system "screens" phone numbers that call you.

If it’s a legitimate call, the call goes through to you.

If the call is an illegal robocaller, our system intercepts the call and hangs up for you.

Our system utilizes a MASSIVE database of known, illegal robocallers, that's been compiled with the help of the FTC, user reports, and "honey traps".

If a call gets a match in our database, our system grab the call.  If there's no match, we let the call go through.

Your phone will ring once letting you know that the robocall has been answered and stopped.

Hey! A Robocaller Still Called Me!

Occasionally a robocaller or a telemarketer will slip through. Just like Email spam, the "bad guys" keep changing their tactics and we keep adapting.

Note:  If you got a call from an "Unavailable" Robocall, or a Robocall without a number, or a Robocall with too many digits, please fill the form out with all zeros, and then in the "Anything Else" section, write exactly what the caller id said.

If you do get a robocall, please report it via our form here or send us an Email.

You can also report these robocallers by calling or texting the number to (608) 371-6666.

Why Am I Getting Calls From 608-371-6666?

Here's why you're getting calls from 608-371-6666 (NOMO):

To ensure that our system doesn't block a suspecious looking call that is made by a human, our system answer the call and play the following message to them:

"This phone is PROTECTED - to prove that you are not a Robo Caller please enter the number XX"

If the caller successfully enters the random number (technically called a CAPTCHA), our system sends the call back to you but with a changed Caller id of 608-371-6666 (NOMO). If we didn't do this, the call would get caught in an endless loop.

Here's an example. Let's say that Shady Charity, Inc is making some calls to ask for donations. Their phone number is 800-555-0100 and, of course, it's blacklisted. When they call, they'll hear the message asking them to type in a random number but, since they have live people making the calls, they're able to get through.

You'll first get a call from 800-555-0100 and then it will stop after one ring (because we answered it). After a slight delay (while the worker types the random number) you'll get another call (it'll be the same Shady Charity worker) but this time, the Caller ID will show as 608-371-6666.

We've heard reports that sometimes the Caller ID Name says "MAINE MED CTR". This is incorrect and we're working with our carrier to fix this.

Can I Sill Use Call Forwarding?

Most carriers do not allow you to activate Call Forwarding, and Simultaneous Ring at the same time.

However, you can achieve the same effect by adding your Call Forward number, to the Simultaneous Ring feature.

This will allow your calls to forward, and still keep them protected by Nomorobo.
